haha..y after kiet's post then stagnant again??!! haha... cannot liddat lah... otherwise kiet will not wanna blog in future! =P
anyway, six months from now, kiet will be a career woman!! omg... ok lah, i know you dont wanna be an auditor... and although, the starting pay isnt very high, i'm sure you're gonna get speedy increments & in no time, you'll be earning big $$$!! haha... times are bad, so just make do with whatever decent job you can get for the time being... then once the economy picks up, you can consider switching to some other job, like in a bank perhaps? =)
well, for me...i'll be back on 27 dec... reaching sometime at around 6+pm... then it'll be just a short week before school reopens!! omg... how intimidating...i'm too used to slacking here... pretty sure i wont be used to mugging life again... (not that i really had one previously...-_-") hahaha... but i guess i'll be damn busy with tkd again!!! since i'll only be back in late dec, this leaves me even less time to train for next year's ivp, which should be sometime in feb... usually during ntu's recess week... scary... >_< well, for the past 2 years, i'd been competing in both pattern & sparring events, on top of coaching... but next year, it shud be time for me to take a back seat in the pattern event... give my juniors a chance... so i'll just be doing sparring, & coaching for both pattern & sparring...
oh yah! just to update you guys... i took part in a tkd competition in shanghai last week... haha...yeah, even in china... =P well, it was pretty fun! interesting exposure and really an eye-opener...=) but i think the main highlight was having to compete in the cold!! coz it was totally freezing, and even though we were indoors, the floor and mats still felt ice cold! we had to warm up in jackets and stuff, and wear our shoes all the time until just before our turn or our toes would be frozen into 10 mini popsicles... >_< and when the mats are so cold, they become so slippery, making it even more difficult to get your balance while doing kicks and stuff... challenging man... >_< but well, glad that i managed to survive after all... =P
anyway, i think kiet's really desperate for some k-ing session... so c'mon guyz... haha... help to organise and go k together lah! haha... otherwise there might not be time after i'm back since it wont be long before school reopens...=( but the lucky nus guyz get to enjoy 1 more week of holiday right! hahaa... -envious-

haha...sam! so haf u found ur above average jane? haha...sounds like great news! must share...=P
anyway, yep, i've been to the nanjing massacre war memorial... it's a very meaningful place to visit... you must be mentally prepared to walk out with a heavy heart though... a really solemn place... in case the rest of you dont know what the place is like, it's basically a memorial with lots of photographs, newspaper clippings, video clips, etc. related to the nanjing massacre committed by the japanese during WWII. i got especially emotional after watching the video clips of interviews with the ex-comfort women, the recounts of pregnant women being brutally raped & killed, as well as girls as young as 7 being ruthlessly targeted... sigh... a horrifying history indeed... i left the place with one thought in my head - "the japanese army then was made up of a bunch of vicious & inhumane monsters..."
but that being said, i'm still not anti-japanese... haha... well, you guys should know how pro-jap i am... those atrocities were committed by the japanese in the past, not the japanese of the present... so let's not blame today's generation of japanese for the inhumane acts of their forefathers... =)
anyway, as for food... nanjing has quite a lot of good food if you know where to find them... but if you're talking about the daily average fare, then it's not that great actually... the food here tends to be very salty and oily... i can totally feel my arteries getting clogged with each spoonful of whatever i eat here... >_<

& btw, i dun really have a fetish for kicking pple's mouths, nor letting pple kiss my toes...(it wasnt kissing my toes actually, more like biting my foot!>_<)
i guess everyone's kinda mia coz of exam period... haha... good luck for the exams!! hope we're all on our way to getting a 1st class honours in whichever course we're in! =)

celest, i get this weird feeling that we're gonna be the only ones blogging here, as if we were have a conversation. i doubt sam kiet and chin even do know that there are some new posts by us. haha
well, i learn about religions, economic development and politics.
history is throughout all 3 sections. basically, i learn whatever the lecturer decides to teach. haha
as long as it involves india, sri lanka, bangladesh, pakistan or some other country in south asia, there's a chance i might have to know it. haha
hmm, what are you coaching hc in? tkd?
not enough ah you? still like to kick ppl's mouth? or like ppl to kiss your toes? haha.
holler when you're back. i am trying damn hard to study in the library now. falling asleep. :(
