haha.. juz to show dat i hvent forgotten abt our blog, here's another post! haha... a big thank-you to u guyz for attending my bday celebration!! it was really great meeting up & i definitely liked de bday gifts!! haha... hope u guyz enjoyed de jap food at tsubaki, though towards de end, when u all played zhong ji mi ma or de chin hoe game, forcing de food down ur throat was perhaps a mere torture... haha... not forgetting hy's bloated stomach plus overloaded bladder frm excessive green tea! haha... he kept running to de loo when we were at 'bungalow'... for de benefit of our beloved kiet, 'bungalow' is dis restaurant/bar place outside united sq, where we went to chill after dinner, wif some of my other frenz...
anyway, after my 21st, we celebrated hy's 21st! went to dis ktv pub/bar at boat quay coz hy opened a bottle there previously & supposedly had half a bottle left... haha... but apparently, we saw dat there was actualli less than 1/3 in de bottle when de waitress brought it to us... haha... so anw, we opened another bottle dat nite... had fun playing drinking games, esp dis new dice game dat i juz learnt frm dem...
next was yj's bday dat we juz celebrated on thurs! went sakura int'l at toa payoh, where we had been to previously, quite a couple of yrs back... i feel dat de quality of food has improved, probably coz when we first visited dat sakura outlet, it was quite newly opened... so things werent running dat smoothly yet... glad dat their food has improved over de yrs... (unlike suki, wch seems to haf been going downhill! >_<) anyway, other than our clique pple, yj also invited chen nee, ziying, & a bunch of his army frenz, among wch was dis super tall guy whom hy kept commenting on... hahaha... hy said dat guy's height was "rather er"... & i replied, "& i thought u were tall......" hahaha... & chen nee suddenly added, "eh, actually he's not tall, he's juz looonnngggg" haha... seemed quite true... his limbs, his upper torso, his lower torso... all juz looked elongated... hahaha... oopz...no offense hor! =P oh yah, forgot to add, we managed to get him de mikasa VLS200 official beach volleyball of beijing olympics 2008!!! hahaha... was considering de last resort of ordering it online & getting it delivered to kiet in US, but for it to make itz way back to sg, it'll be a super duper late bday prezzie... haha...
well, next up will be chin's bday! haha... i wonder how he'll be celebrating it... =P
oh yah, juz to let u guyz noe... itz confirmed dat i'll be going china nxt sem for gip (global immersion prog)... it'll be half a yr away... so sad... but de gd news is kiet also applied & got in! haha... so my only consolation is to go there wif her!!! really hope she'll go, coz she's very undecided at de moment... keeping my fingers crossed!!! =P
